Lacoste
The exclusive limited edition T-shirt design, commissioned by Lacoste, was an open brief to re-imagine the Lacoste crocodile logo for a women’s T-shirt. James Ward took references from their original 1970s designs (‘76 was the year they launched the 'crocodiles' advertising campaign) and referenced René Lacoste, who founded the company in the ‘20s and also invented the first metal tennis racket. Both the clothing and metal tennis racker feature in the final artwork for this sold-out design.
